Fabian Hinsche is Professor of Guitar at the Bremen University of the Arts and also teaches at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin and the Institute of Music at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

His international concert career takes him as a soloist, in the Mare Duo, and in various ensembles throughout Europe, Asia, and North and South America. He is a winner and prizewinner of over ten competitions in Europe, including prestigious competitions in Spain, Italy, Greece, and Germany, and was a scholarship recipient of the Richard Wagner Association, the Friedrich-Jürgen-Sellheim Society, and Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now.

He is a lecturer in various talent development programs and is a guest artist and juror at international festivals such as the Koblenz Guitar Festival, the Heinsberg International Guitar Festival, and the Hersbruck Guitar Festival. Students from his guitar classes have won prizewinners of various national and international guitar competitions.

Fabian Hinsche, both as a soloist and as a member of the Mare Duo, has had numerous compositions by composers such as Carlo Domeniconi, J. Zenamon, K. Vassiliev, J. Kindle, L. Wüller, T. A. LeVines, F. A. Wallace, M. Borner, and O. Boyko dedicated to him.

Fabian Hinsche has recorded several CDs: the solo CDs "Journey," "Selected Works for Guitar by Rudolf Leberl" (released as a double CD on the renowned Naxos label), and "12 Mysteries for Guitar by Lars Wüller"; the Mare Duo CDs "Crystal Tears," which the press has hailed as one of the best of its kind; the chamber music CD "Mare Duo plays Wallace"; and two further duo CDs for the Naxos label featuring works by Carlo Domeniconi and American composers. Radio recordings have been made in Germany, Austria, Denmark, and Russia, among other countries.

Fabian Hinsche's recordings include those for solo performances in Germany, Austria, Denmark, and Russia. Fabian Hinsche holds a doctorate (Dr. phil.) in Media Culture Analysis, specializing in the "Aesthetics of Musical Interpretation." He is the chairman of EGTA D (European Guitar Teachers Association Germany) and editor of the "EGTA Journal – The New Guitar Magazine." He lectures and publishes on historical, guitar-related, and aesthetic topics and has edited numerous sheet music editions for various publishers, including the "Edition Mare Duo," published by Trekel-Verlag/Hamburg.

Fabian Hinsche studied guitar with Prof. Alfred Eickholt, Prof. Carlo Marchione, and Prof. Hubert Käppel.
