Ferdinand Binnendijk is a sought-after soloist and chamber musician. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Dutch Chamber Orchestra, the Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra, and the Orkest van het Osten. He is also a member of the Nieuw Ensemble, which specializes in contemporary music, and performs as an orchestral musician with various orchestras throughout Europe.
He is also a member of the Nieuw Ensemble, which specializes in contemporary music. Together with harpist Suzanne Zijderveld, he forms the Duo Corelli. Their debut CD, "Cordes Emouvants," was released in 2018. He is also a member of Het CONSORT and the Castilia Mandolin Quintet.
Regular collaborations with guitarist Noortje Vredveld, pianist and organist Laurens de Man, and other artists are also part of his work.
Ferdinand Binnendijk has received numerous awards for his achievements. These included first prizes at the “Concorso Raffaele Calace”, the “Prinses Christina Concours”, the “Tristan Keuris Concours”, and the audience prize at the “Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours”. He completed his studies in 2016 at the “ArtEZ Conservatorium” in Zwolle under Alex Timmerman, graduating with a Master's degree.
