Kristina Lisner
Vita
Kristina Lisner works as a mandolinist, teacher, adjudicator, and music educator in North Rhine-Westphalia and throughout Germany. She has received numerous awards at national and international competitions, including the prestigious Yasuo Kuwahara Competition for solo mandolin.
For her chamber music work with Duo Amabile and the ensemble trioLogie, she has been awarded several scholarships, including a scholarship from the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation's "Live Music Now" program and a current scholarship from the Werner Richard – Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation.
In 2015, her debut album, "soundscapes vol. 1," with trioLogie, was released on the Encora label.
She currently teaches mandolin at the Gladbeck Music School and works as a freelance music educator, exploring new approaches to music education and concert formats for various productions in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Kristina Lisner completed her studies in 2016 with a Master of Music in Mandolin at the Cologne/Wuppertal University of Music and Dance, studying under Prof. Caterina Lichtenberg and Silke Lisko.
In the same year, she also earned a Master of Music in Music Education and Music Management from the Detmold University of Music.
