Melanie Hilker is a musician specializing in chamber music, performing nationally and internationally, and a music teacher at the Bergische Musikschule Wuppertal. She is a prizewinner of national competitions and a scholarship recipient of various foundations, including the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation "Live Music Now" and the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation.
She studied mandolin at the Cologne/Wuppertal University of Music and Dance with Prof. Caterina Lichtenberg and Silke Lisko, graduating in 2016 with a Master of Music in Mandolin.
