Melanie Hilker works as a musician specialising in chamber music
on a national and international level as well as teaching at the
Bergischen Musikschule in Wuppertal.
Melanie is a prise winner of national competitions in Germany as
well as scholarship candidate for various foundations such as
the Yehudi-Menuhin-Foundation, Live Music Now
and the Werner Richard - Dr. Carl Dörken Foundation.
She studied mandolin at the Cologne Academy of Music and Dance/
Wuppertal under prof. Caterina Lichtenberg and Silke Lisko and
graduated in 2016 with a master of music.
